Hely a nyílt web platformhoz a legnagyobbak támogatásával

Az Adobe, az Apple, a Facebook, a Google, a HP, a Microsoft, a Mozilla, a Nokia és az Opera, mint “nagy játékosok” támogatásával a tegnapi napon a W3C megnyitotta a WebPlatform.org webhelyet és annak első megnyilvánulását, a “Web Platform Doksik” oldalt, mely tulajdonképpen egy közösségi wiki.

Üdvözöljük a Web Platform Doksik oldalán

A Web Platform Doksik egy új közösség alapú webhely melynek célja, hogy a webfejlesztői dokumentáció átfogó és hiteles forrása legyen. Bár a Web Platform Doksik még alfa változatban vannak, már rengeteg értékes tartalmat lehet megtalálni az oldalon, beleértve azt:

• Hogyan használjuk ki a nyílt web kínálta lehetőségeket, ezek szintakszisa és példái?
• Milyen platformokon és eszközökön lehet használni a különböző technológiákat?
• Mi az egyes technológiai specifikációk szabványosításának, stabilitásának és implementációjának aktuális állapota?

A jövőben a Web Platform Doksik még több tartalmat kínálnak majd a megismerésre, így élő kód példákat, anyagokat oktatók számára és még sok minden mást. Ahhoz, hogy minél gyorsabban eljussunk ide, szeretnénk meghívni Önt, hogy járuljon ehhez hozzá saját tudásával. Reméljük, csatlakozik hozzánk!

Web Platform Docs has a similar goal to MDN: to help web developers improve their ability to make sites and applications using web standards. Mozilla welcomes this effort and joins with the other stewards in financially supporting the Web Platform Docs project, and in providing seed content for it. This new project is very much aligned with Mozilla’s mission to promote openness, innovation, and opportunity on the Web.

What does this mean for MDN?

MDN already provides a wealth of information for Web developers and for developers who use or contribute to Mozilla technology. That isn’t going to change. Some members of the MDN community, including both paid staff and volunteers, are actively involved with the Web Platform Docs project. Web Platform Docs incorporates some seed content from MDN, namely tutorial and guide content. Anyone is welcome to use MDN content under its Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license (CC-BY-SA), whether on WPD or elsewhere.
